Product Description

The Fourier N1 is Fourier's first open-source humanoid robot, purpose-built for cutting-edge embodied intelligence research. As the inaugural project of the Fourier Nexus open-source ecosystem, the N1 enables research teams to rapidly validate algorithms and applications through high-versatility motion control and multimodal model integration.

The N1 features a compact aluminum alloy and engineering-plastic composite body with a tool-free swappable battery, delivering over 2 hours of runtime to support high-frequency testing across diverse research scenarios. At 130 cm tall and 38 kg, it strikes an ideal balance between capability and manageability.

Backed by over 1,000 hours of outdoor complex-terrain validation, the N1 supports fast walking, running, slope traversal (15°–20° inclines), stair climbing (up to 20 cm steps), single-leg standing, and ground recovery. With 23 degrees of freedom and a top speed of 3.5 m/s, it delivers exceptional dynamic responsiveness.

Full hardware design files and base software source code are openly available, allowing developers to replicate and extend the platform. Fourier actively co-develops with more than 20 leading global research institutions and enterprises, including ETH Zurich, Carnegie Mellon University, and Tsinghua University, to advance embodied AI into real-world applications.
