\nPursuit of Excellence
\n\n
Rolex has its own foundry to develop high-quality 18K gold alloys. By mixing in different proportions of silver, copper, platinum, or palladium, different types of 18K gold can be refined: yellow gold, pink gold, or white gold.
\n
All raw materials are refined from high-purity metals, and each piece undergoes meticulous testing in the company’s own laboratory using advanced equipment before being formed into gold. Every step of the process is carried out with utmost care. This relentless pursuit of excellence from the very beginning of production is a consistent principle of Rolex.

\nHigh-performance chronograph watch
\n\n
The watch’s signature feature is its molded tachymeter bezel, capable of measuring average speeds of up to 400 miles per hour or kilometers per hour. The black bezel combines high technology with a sleek design, reminiscent of the 1965 model with a black plastic glass bezel.
\n
The high-tech Cerachrom ceramic bezel boasts numerous advantages, including corrosion resistance, scratch resistance, and colorfastness even under UV exposure. Beyond its exceptional durability, the bezel offers exceptional visibility, thanks to a PVD (Physical Vapor Deposition) coating that deposits a thin layer of platinum onto the numerals and scales, enhancing the clarity of the tachymeter indicator. The unibody Cerachrom bezel helps secure the crystal to the watch case and ensures water resistance.
