Beneath the sapphire crystal, Omega’s profound connection with the Moon unfolds before the eyes: the movement’s rotor and bridges have undergone special finishing and decoration, employing laser ablation technology to vividly replicate the authentic landscape of the lunar surface. Through the skeletonised dial made of grey anodised aluminium, the “near side” of the Moon—the visible face from Earth—can be clearly seen, while the case back showcases the “far side” of the Moon. The watch dial houses a small seconds sub-dial at the 9 o’clock position, a 30-minute chronograph sub-dial at 3 o’clock, and a 12-hour chronograph sub-dial at 6 o’clock.
